This is a fast paced, hands-on program designed to empower Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide life saving initial care to the sick and injured. ABOUT EMS INSTITUTE

In keeping with our mission of caring for the community in all we do, CHC is launching EMS INSTITUTE! We want to create greater opportunity and help develop talent in our community by offering a fast-paced, hands-on learning experience designed to provide students with the critical skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this highly competitive field.

OUR PROGRAM

This is an 11 week program that will provide students critical knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, patient assessment techniques and protocols as well as CPR/AED procedures. It will consist of classroom learning, skills and simulator lab, patient care competencies, National Registry testing preparation skills and working beside our highly skilled professional patient care providers.

Orientation Begins January 10, 2021
First Day of Class Begins January 11, 2021
Classes will be on Tue and Wed, 8a-5p, plus 1 clinical ride per week


Included with Tuition: Background Check, Malpractice Insurance, Uniform, Drug Screen, and TB Skin Test.
Tuition will be waived for students who are hired on after successful completion of the program and stay on for a full year.

This course has been approved by the Tennessee Department of Health EMS Board and meets all  requirements for Basic EMT Certification. Not accredited by a national accrediting body.
